Community Resource Person
Djenny Mwizerwa is a dedicated climate justice advocate and finance professional with a
strong background in community engagement, communication, and advocacy. He is
currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, equipping him with analytical and
strategic skills essential for sustainable development initiatives.
His journey in climate advocacy began in 2022 as a Young Digital Activist, where He
leveraged digital platforms to raise awareness on climate issues. In 2024, he transitioned
into his current role as a Community Resource Person at the Rwanda Climate Change and
Development Network (RCCDN), where he facilitates community projects, provides
emotional support, gathers statistical data, and connects local communities to essential
services.
His expertise in communication is backed by a certificate in Communication, Visibility, and
Impact Reporting from the Rwanda Civil Society Platform, demonstrating his ability to
amplify key messages and drive engagement in climate action. He is also a graduate of the
Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice, a prestigious program by the Pan African
Climate Justice Alliance, which deepened his understanding of climate justice frameworks
and advocacy strategies.
Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Djenny leverages his creative talents in
singing and dancing to champion climate advocacy, using art as a powerful tool to raise
awareness and inspire action.
With a unique combination of financial knowledge, community engagement, digital activism,
and artistic advocacy,Djenny Mwizerwa is a dynamic force in the fight for climate justice,
dedicated to empowering communities and driving impactful change.
