Therefore, Dr Abias Maniragaba shared some basic Environment and Climate Change terms. Starting from the Scope of Climatology; Weather & Climate, Global Warming, Source of Greenhouse Gases, Consequences of GHG Concentration in the atmosphere specifically the temperature change.

Since the earth is the only habitable planet in our solar system, Dr Abias Maniragaba suggests that all the PPIMA Partners play a big role in keeping it safe. Temperature is the most ecologically germane environmental factor. A few organisms can tolerate & thrive in a wide range of it without being affected by the eurythermal; but a vast majority of them operate within stenothermal.

“The climate is changing a lot based on what human nature is doing to the environment. We all should work collaboratively in sustaining the betterment of the environment,” said Faustin Vuningoma, the RCCDN Coordinator. He also explained more on UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) that consists of 196 countries as well as the EU as parties since 1992.

Some suggestions were given, where Judith from ADENYA suggests that there might be a better policy implementation of greening and tree plantation based on season and region.

Summing up the day 1 workshop, PIMMA PARTNERS learnt that Long-terms sustainable planning strategies are needed to ensure the best implementation in ensuring the environment protection as far as climate change is concerned.
